New feathered friends...

I finally went to Bird Mart semi-locally and acquired some new friends.  Also, I traded the linnies for some very pretty bourkes.  I shall miss the linnies, so here's a tribute section for them.

As for the new friends...

New bourkes: pink hen, cream male, and bronze fallow hen...supposedly

  1. Some interesting coloured bourkes. What is the difference between pink and rosa (opaline)?

  2. thanks, the pink is a combination of opaline aka rosa and one of the fallows, so it should have red eyes, and the wing feathers should be lighter, and often has a whiter face compared to the usual opaline.
